Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a wire cutting tool used to cut or polish brittle workpieces such as sapphire substrate, stone, brick, concrete, asphalt, and more particularly, to provide an electrodeposition layer having excellent mechanical strength. The present invention relates to a wire cutting tool for reducing the disconnection of a wire base material and a manufacturing method thereof.
In general, cutting tools used for cutting high-hardness materials such as sapphire substrates and stones require mechanical properties such as abrasion resistance, toughness, and high temperature hardness to maintain hardness even at high temperatures. To this end, a diamond tool (Diamond Tool) in which the diamond particles are fixed to the surface is used.
Such a conventional diamond tool is a tip obtained by high-pressure sintering of fine particles in a cutting edge formed by polishing an industrial diamond or a bite attached to a soft steel bar by adhering the fine particles in a thin layer onto a cemented carbide base material. It is very smooth to obtain a beautiful finish surface and it is suitable for cutting of hard-to-finish materials such as ceramics.
Such a diamond tool using diamond has been already known in various patents such as Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 2006-181701, 1997-150314, and 10-2011-0033356 .
However, in the conventional diamond tool, when cutting the workpiece by using diamond, an electrodeposition layer for attaching the diamond to be fixed to the base material substantially in addition to the diamond is rubbed against the workpiece. The electrodeposited layer thus rubbed onto the workpiece is gradually worn out and thinned over time.
On the other hand, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 1997-150314 discloses a technique of using a nickel plated layer and a copper plated layer as electrodeposition layers to fix diamonds attached to a base material. Since the stress concentration of the plating layer and the copper plating layer and the portion where the diamond abuts is increased, the adhesion force of the diamond attached to the wire is reduced by the nickel plating layer and the copper plating layer, so that the diamond may fall off from the nickel plating layer and the copper plating layer. do.
In addition, when the nickel plating layer is implemented as the electrodeposition layer as described above, the current density of the electrode must be increased in order to increase the efficiency of nickel plating, and a relatively high temperature of 50 ° C. or higher must be maintained, and further, a diamond electrodeposition method using the nickel plating layer In the case of silver nickel electroplating, another diamond particle is often attached on the diamond.
Therefore, in the art, therefore, unlike the technique of using the nickel plated layer as the electrodeposition layer as described above, there is a need for a new method for forming an electrodeposition layer excellent in mechanical strength and bonding properties.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a wire cutting tool having an electrodeposition layer having excellent mechanical strength and a method of manufacturing the same.

Here, an important feature of the present invention is to provide an

Referring to FIG. 2A, first, a

Subsequently, a degreasing process is performed to remove organic substances on the surface of the
Then, the
If the base material is continuously immersed and discharged in the composite plating solution, the base material may be guided by a plurality of rollers. The rollers may be provided in one or more of them, for example, may include an inlet side or an outlet side roller. The inlet roller serves to change the direction of the base material so that the base material is immersed in the composite plating solution, and the outlet side roller is configured to discharge the base material from the composite plating solution after attaching the composite plating solution and a plurality of abrasive particles. Will act to change the direction of the base material.
Subsequently, the plurality of
Then, an
If the electrodeposited layer has a thickness smaller than the above range, the abrasive particles can not be stably fixed from the electrodeposition layer or the base metal. On the other hand, if the electrodeposited layer has a thickness greater than the above range, The amount to be applied to the particles increases, so that the number of portions where the abrasive grains are exposed is reduced and the cutting characteristics are lowered.
