Claims (11)
- 기판에 종방향으로 배열되며, 화상정보를 전달하는 복수의 데이터라인과; 상기 기판에 횡방향으로 배열되며, 주사신호를 전달하는 복수의 게이트라인과; 상기 게이트라인 및 데이터라인이 교차하여 구획되는 영역에 구비되며, 상기 기판에 행렬(matrix) 형태로 배열되는 복수의 화소와; 상기 화소에 개별적으로 구비되어 수평 전계를 형성하는 제 1전극 및 제 2전극과; 상기 기판에 횡방향으로 교대로 배열되는 복수의 제 1공통전압라인 및 제 2공통전압라인을 포함하여 구성되며, 행 단위의 화소들에 구비된 제 2전극은 제 1공통전압라인 및 제 2공통전압라인에 교번하여 접속되되,제 N(N은 자연수)번째 행의 화소들 중 홀수번째 화소의 제 2전극은 제 1공통전압라인에 접속되고, 짝수번째 화소의 제 2전극은 제 2공통전압라인에 접속되며,제 N번째 열의 화소들 중 홀수번째 화소의 제 2전극은 제 1공통전압라인에 접속되고, 짝수번째 화소의 제 2전극은 제 2공통전압라인에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1전극은 화소전극이고, 제 2전극은 공통전극인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1공통전압라인과 제 2공통전압라인은 각각 전기적으로 공통 접속된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1공통전압라인에는 매 프레임 단위로 천이되는 펄스 형태의 제 1공통전압이 인가되고, 상기 제 2공통전압라인에는 상기 제 1공통전압이 반전된 펄스 형태의 제 2공통전압이 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치.

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 홀수번째 화소의 제 2전극과 짝수번째 화소의 제 2전극은 각각 전도성 접속수단에 의해 전기적으로 접속된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 전도성 접속수단은 인듐-틴-옥사이드(ITO)로 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 기판에 종방향으로 배열되며, 화상정보를 전달하는 복수의 데이터라인과; 상기 기판에 횡방향으로 배열되며, 주사신호를 전달하는 복수의 게이트라인과; 상기 게이트라인 및 데이터라인이 교차하여 구획되는 영역에 구비되며, 상기 기판에 행렬(matrix) 형태로 배열되는 복수의 화소와; 상기 화소에 개별적으로 구비되어 수평 전계를 형성하는 화소전극 및 공통전극과; 상기 기판에 횡방향으로 교대로 배열되는 복수의 제 1공통전압라인 및 제 2공통전압라인을 포함하여 구성되며, 행 단위의 화소들에 구비된 공통전극은 제 1공통전압라인 및 제 2공통전압라인에 교번하여 접속되되,제 N(N은 1보다 큰 자연수)번째 행의 화소들 중,홀수번째 화소의 공통전극은, 제 N-1 또는 N+1번째 행의 화소들 중 짝수번째 화소의 공통전극과 접속되는 제 1공통전압라인에 접속되고,짝수번째 화소의 공통전극은, 제 N-1 또는 N+1번째 행의 화소들 중 홀수번째 화소의 공통전극과 접속되는 제 2공통전압라인에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
