상기 고삼액의 제조는 고삼을 고온의 증류탕에 넣어 쪄서 만든 것으로, 상기 고삼은 마트린(matrine)이라고 하는 알카로이드가 약 2% 함유되어 있어 대단히 쓰며, 그외 아로마트린과 플라보노이드, 이소안하이드, 로이카린을 함유하고 있으며, 조직배양중 L-마키아닌과 소량의 프테로칼핀의 생성을 인정하고, 잎에는 루테오린-7-구루코시드와 종자에는 지방유 및 휘발성 알카로이드, 시스타신을 소량 함유하고 있는 것으로, 한약제로 외과를 주치하는 약용이며 습진 또는 신경성 피부질환 멸균 작용의 지유제로 많이 사용되며, 고미건위, 해열, 이뇨의 효과가 있으므로 민간약으로 많이 사용되는 것이다.The ginseng is prepared by steaming the ginseng into a high-temperature distilled bath, and the ginseng contains about 2% of alkaloids called matrine, and is highly used.
