Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method of adjusting the spinning condition of the electrospinning apparatus, and more particularly, to a method of adjusting the spinning conditions of the electrospinning apparatus by adjusting the inflow of ion particles and the inclination of the nozzle block.
Methods or apparatus for producing nanofibers by electrospinning a spinning solution in which a polymer polymer solution is dissolved in a solvent or a melt of a polymer polymer are known in the art. The spinning solution or melt is spun in a spinning block with spinning nozzles and focuses on the collector to form a nanofiber web. Since the nozzle block includes tens to thousands of spinning nozzles, the non-uniformity of the voltage formed between the spinning nozzles formed in the same nozzle block may cause the nanofiber web focused on the collector to generate nonuniformity of physical properties. And another problem is that during the electrospinning process of the spinning solution or spinning melt, the solvent may be present on the top or bottom of the nozzle block, which may cause the electrospinning not to be stable. Another problem that can occur during the mass production of nanofibers is that the thickness may not be constant in the width direction when a plurality of nozzle blocks are continuously installed and electrospinning occurs. At the same time, the nanofibers produced may not have the required thickness. The present invention is to solve the problem that the nanofibers prepared as described above do not have the necessary requirements, and has the following objectives.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of adjusting the radiation conditions of an electrospinning apparatus.
The present invention can be applied to electrospinning devices for any spinning dope, such as solution spinning and melt electrospinning devices, as well as to both up, side and top down electrospinning devices.
According to a suitable embodiment of the present invention, a method of adjusting the radiation conditions of an electrospinning apparatus comprising a collector and a nozzle block comprises continuously arranging a nozzle unit comprising at least one nozzle block on a height adjustable table, and When thickness deviation occurs in the width direction perpendicular to the direction in which the nanofiber web is manufactured, the width direction inclination of the nozzle block or the nozzle unit is adjusted.
According to another suitable embodiment of the invention, an air flow is directed above the nozzle unit and the air flow comprises ionic particles.
According to another suitable embodiment of the present invention, the inclination in the width direction of the nozzle block or the nozzle unit is adjusted by measuring the thickness of the manufactured nanofiber web in real time.
According to another suitable embodiment of the present invention, the amount of ion particles contained in the air stream is determined by measuring in real time the amount and charge amount of the volatile solvent present on the nozzle block.
According to another suitable embodiment of the present invention, the inclination of the nozzle unit is adjusted by a table capable of height adjustment.
According to another suitable embodiment of the present invention, the electrospinning apparatus is bottom-up.
The present invention can prevent the thickness variation in the width direction that may occur in the manufacturing process of the nanofiber web. In addition, the nanofiber web having uniform physical properties may be manufactured by preventing a change in physical properties that may occur from non-uniformity of the electric field in the spinning block that may occur during the manufacturing process.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail by using an embodiment. The examples presented are exemplary and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
In the present specification, the nozzle unit means a unit formed by aligning at least one nozzle block. Electrospinning for mass production allows spinning solution or spinning melt to be electrospun into the collector from a number of nozzle units arranged in a uniform fashion so that the nanofiber web can be continuously produced.
1 shows a plurality of nozzle units comprising at least one nozzle block according to the invention.
The plurality of
In the case of the bottom-up electrospinning apparatus, a collector is installed above the
Inclination adjustment of the
A method of adjusting the amount of radiation of the
2 (a) and (b) shows an embodiment of a method for adjusting the amount of radiation in the electrospinning apparatus according to the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 2A, the spinning distance between the
One method of inclination adjustment is to adjust the inclination of the
In the present specification, the inclination adjustment refers to adjusting the inclination direction in the width direction of the nozzle unit or the nozzle block, and the width direction refers to the direction perpendicular to the advancing direction of the nanofiber web.
As shown in Fig. 2A, the
Referring to FIG. 2B, when the inclination of the nozzle unit or the nozzle block is adjusted, the
Adjusting the inclination of the nozzle unit or the nozzle block is for preventing occurrence of thickness variation in the width direction. Another cause of influencing the properties or spinning uniformity of the web of nanofibers is the charged volatile solvent present in the spinning block formed by the nozzle block and the collector. When the spinning solution or melt is electrospun through the spinning nozzle, a portion of the spinning solution or melt will flow down the nozzle block without spinning. In addition, the volatile solvent contained in the spinning solution sinks to the bottom of the nozzle block or floats in the spinning block depending on the relative specific gravity to air. In most cases, volatile solvents are charged and can affect the spinning process. Therefore, it is advantageous to remove the volatile solvent in order to maintain spinning uniformity. Embodiments of devices for removing volatile solvents are described in Patent Application No. 2007-44037, mentioned above and incorporated herein by reference.
3 illustrates an embodiment of a device capable of removing volatile solvent from a spinning block.
Referring to FIG. 3, the
According to the present invention, the
The ion particles discharged from the
According to the present invention, the inclination of the nozzle block can be adjusted and ion particles can be introduced into the spinning block. As a result of measuring the thickness of the fabricated nanofiber web in real time, if there is a variation in thickness in the width direction, first, an arbitrary nozzle unit is selected to adjust the inclination. When the thickness is measured again and the deviation occurs in the opposite direction, the nozzle block of any one of the selected nozzle units is selected to adjust the inclination. As such, the inclination adjustment of the nozzle block according to the present invention may be performed in a suitable manner by measuring the thickness of the nanofiber web to be manufactured in real time and according to the measured result. In the manufacturing process, the amount and charge amount of the volatile solvent of the spinning block are continuously measured, and accordingly, an appropriate amount of anion or cationic particles can flow from the wind block into the spinning block.
