Claims (2)
- 모드 셀렉터로부터의 출력신호에 의해 외부로부터 입력되는 소정비트의 R, G, B 데이터를 선택하기 위한 데이터 셀렉터;시프트 레지스터부터의 출력신호에 따라서 상기 데이터 셀렉터로부터 데이터를 순차적으로 입력 저장하는 데이터 레지스터;로드신호에 의해 상기 데이터 레지스터에 순차적으로 저장된 R, G, B 데이터를 각 라인별로 한꺼번에 저장하는 홀드 레지스터;상기 홀드 레지스터에 라인별로 저장된 R, G, B 데이터의 레벨을 시프트시키는 레벨 시프터;기준전압을 입력하여 다수의 계조전압을 발생하기위한 레지스터 스트링;상기 레지스터 스트링으로부터 발생된 계조전압을 입력하여 상기 모드 셀렉터로부터 인가되는 출력신호에 적합하게 계조전압을 제어하는 계조전압 제어부;상기 레벨 시프터로부터의 출력신호에 의해 상기 계조전압 제어부로부터 출력되는 계조전압중 하나를 선택하는 디지털 아날로그 변환기; 및상기 디지털 아날로그 변환기의 출력을 LCD 패널로 제공하는 출력버퍼로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자용 소오스 드라이버.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 디지탈 아날로그 변환기에는 상기 데이터 셀렉터로부터 선택된 상위비트를 제외한 나머지 비트는 하이레벨 또는 로우레벨로 고정된 데이터가 레벨 시프터를 통해 인가되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 소오스 드라이버.
