Claims (11)
- 공통의 광전송 경로 상에서 베이스밴드 및 패스밴드 신호들을 전송하기 위한 광통신 시스템으로서,전기적인 베이스밴드 신호원과,디지털 방송 서비스를 위하여 변조된 전기적인 패스밴드 신호원과 - 상기 패스밴드 신호는 M-QAM 변조를 포함하고, 상기 M은 64이상임 - ,상기 전기적인 베이스밴드 신호에 응답하여, 광 베이스밴드 신호를 발생시키는 제 1 광송신기와 - 상기 베이스밴드 신호는 광 패스밴드 신호와 조합하도록 광 파워가 최적화될 수 있음 - ,상기 전기적인 패스밴드 신호에 응답하여, 광 패스밴드 신호를 발생시키는 제 2 광송신기와 - 상기 패스밴드 신호는 광 베이스밴드 신호와 조합하도록 광 파워가 최적화될 수 있음 - ,상기 광 베이스밴드 및 패스밴드 신호들을 결합된 광 신호로 결합하도록 상기 송신기들에 광학적으로 결합된 광 결합기와,상기 결합된 광 신호를 전송하도록 상기 광 결합기에 광학적으로 결합된 광전송 경로와,상기 전송된 광 신호들을 수신하도록 상기 광전송 경로에 광학적으로 결합된 광수신기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는광통신 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광 결합기는 광전력 결합기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시 스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 각 광 송신기는 반도체 레이저를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 광송신기는 디지털 레이저를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스템.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광수신기는 PIN 다이오드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스 템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광수신기는 애버랜치 광검출기(APD)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스템.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광전송 경로는 광 섬유를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 광 송신기에 광학적으로 결합된 에르븀 도핑된 광 섬유를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스템.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 광수신기는 베이스밴드 및 패스밴드 신호들을 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광통신 시스템.
