이와 같은 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 원통형상인 상하보빈몸체의 상하단에 4각형 요입홈과 이에 끼움되는 4각형 지지편을 형성한 것이 공지된 바 있으나 이는 보빈몸체를 다단으로 적충할 때는 작업을 중지하고 기계의 가동이 정지된 상태에서 수공으로 적충해야 하기 때문에 작업시간의 로스(lose)현상이 생기는 폐단이 있었던 것이다.
