Abstract
본 발명은 칼라 브라운관의 형광막 조성물에 관한 것으로, 특히 패널 내면에 형성되는 형광막의 외부광에 의한 반사율을 감소시켜 콘트라스트 특성을 높이고 형광체의 안료부착에 의한 튜브 외관 품위를 향상시키며 제품의 제조수율을 향상시킬 수 있는 형광막 조성물을 제공하는데 목적이 있다.The present invention relates to a fluorescent film composition of a color CRT tube, in particular to reduce the reflectance of the fluorescent film formed on the inner surface of the panel by increasing the contrast characteristics, improve the appearance of the tube by the pigment attached to the phosphor and improve the production yield of the product It is an object to provide a fluorescent film composition which can be improved.
이를 실현하기 위하여 본 발명은 적색 및 청색 형광체의 조성은 안료가 부착되고 입자 사이즈가 5±0.5㎛가 되도록 하고, 녹색 형광체의 조성은 안료가 부착되지 않고 입자 사이즈가 5±0.5㎛가 되도록 형성하였다.In order to realize this, in the present invention, the red and blue phosphors have a pigment attached thereto and have a particle size of 5 ± 0.5 μm, and the green phosphor has no pigment attached thereto, and has a particle size of 5 ± 0.5 μm. .
Description
본 발명은 칼라 브라운관에 관한 것으로서, 특히 평면 브라운관의 패널 내면에 형성되어 전자빔의 타격에 의해 R,G,B 의 3색이 발광되는 형광막의 형광체 조성물에 관한 것이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a color CRT, and more particularly, to a phosphor composition of a fluorescent film formed on the inner surface of a panel of a flat CRT and emitting three colors of R, G, and B by hitting an electron beam.
In general, a flat CRT is fused using a panel 1 having R, G and B
Referring to the operation of the conventional planar brown tube configured as described above, the electron beam emitted from the
이하에서는 종래 블랙메트릭스(9)가 형성된 패널(1) 내면에 형광막을 형성하기 위한 공정을 도 2 를 참조하여 살펴보기로 한다.Hereinafter, a process for forming a fluorescent film on the inner surface of the panel 1 in which the conventional
블랙메트릭스(9)가 형성된 블랙패널(1)에 형광막을 형성하기 위해서는 온순수로 세척하고 프리코트(precoat)액을 도포한 후 건조를 실시한다. 다음으로 녹색 형광체액을 도포하면 녹색형광막(10G)이 형성된다. 그후 다시 건조하여 노광시킨후 일정압력의 물을 분사하여 세척하게 되면 녹색의 형광화소가 형성되는 것이다.In order to form a fluorescent film on the black panel 1 on which the
그리고 청색(10B), 적색(10R)의 형광화소의 제조방법은 상기 녹색 형광화소의 제조방법과 동일하며, 이러한 순차적인 공정후 에멀젼 도포→건조→알루미늄막 증착의 공정을 통하여 형광막을 형성할 수 있다.The blue (10B) and red (10R) fluorescent pixels are manufactured in the same manner as the green fluorescent pixels, and after such sequential processes, the fluorescent film can be formed through an emulsion coating → drying → aluminum film deposition. have.
이러한 형광막은 각각의 화소에 대해 전자총(4)에서 발사된 3 전자빔을 정확히 소정의 형광체 화소 위치에 타격시키기 위해 새도우마스크(8)를 노광시 피사체로 하여 형성시킨다.Such a fluorescent film is formed with the
The conventional technique related to the formation of the fluorescent film has a screen pitch (distance from the center of the adjacent red fluorescent surface to a center) of 0.24 (mm) pitch, which is very narrow compared to the 0.28 pitch currently applied to CDT. Therefore, in order to secure cutting property of the fluorescent film, and to prevent mixing and mixing, the fluorescent film is formed by using phosphors having a particle size of about 4 μm (3.8 μm to 4.3 μm) of red, green, and blue phosphorus and having no pigment attached thereto.
그러나 이러한 종래기술은 도 8 및 도 9 에 도시된 바와같이 형광막의 외부광 반사율이 80% 이상이 되게 되어 튜브상태에서의 콘트라스트 특성이 24 이하로 되는 문제점과, 튜브의 색깔도 패널(1)의 초록빛을 띠는 색상이 튜브의 전면에 그대로 나타남으로 인해 외관품위가 저하되는 문제점이 있었다.However, such a prior art has a problem that the external light reflectance of the fluorescent film becomes 80% or more as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, and the contrast characteristic in the tube state is 24 or less, and the color of the tube 1 There was a problem that the appearance of the appearance is degraded because the greenish color appears on the front of the tube.
In order to solve these problems, attaching pigments to red and blue phosphors that are around 4 μm not only exacerbates the dispersibility and solids generation due to aggregation even in the absence of pigments, but also fine particles of 4 μm. When the pigment is attached to the pigment, the pigment is not strongly adhered to the phosphor core, so that the pigment peeling occurs, resulting in a pigment supernatant transmittance of 50% or less (normal when the supernatant transmittance is 80% or more). There was a problem in that a solid content due to peeling was generated, so that poor coating and high quality fluorescent film could not be formed.
In addition, when the particle size of the phosphor is 6.5 μm, the firing temperature may be maintained at 950 ° C. for 12 hours in the process of manufacturing the phosphor. However, in the case of the phosphor having a particle size of 4 μm, the firing temperature is maintained at 800 to 850 ° C. It should be fired for a long time over 24 hours, and more than 70% of the manufactured phosphors should be removed by sedimentation / floating method in order to manage the particle size (medium value of the total particle size of the prepared phosphor) of 4㎛. When the particle size is about 4 μm, since the particles are fine particles, the dispersibility and the settling speed are deteriorated to cause agglomeration (see FIG. 5). have.
The present invention was invented to solve the problems of the prior art as described above, in forming a fluorescent film, a red and blue phosphor having a pigment attached and a particle size of 5 ± 0.5 μm, and a particle size of 5 without a pigment attached thereto. It is an object to improve the contrast characteristics of the CRT and the appearance of the product by forming a fluorescent film using a green phosphor having ± 0.5 μm.

이하, 본 발명을 첨부도면을 참조하여 이하에서 상세히 설명한다.Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
본 발명은 고정세 영상표시소자의 패널(1)내면에 형광체의 입경이 5±0.5㎛이고 안료가 부착된 적(R),청(B)형광체와, 형광체의 입경이 5±0.5㎛이고 안료가 부착되지 않은 녹(G)형광체를 이용하여 콘트라스트 특성 향상 및 외관 품위 향상효과를 가지는 형광막(11)을 형성하는 것이다.According to the present invention, red (R) and blue (B) phosphors having a particle size of 5 ± 0.5 μm and pigments attached to the inner surface of the panel 1 of a high definition image display device, and a particle diameter of 5 ± 0.5 μm of a phosphor The phosphor film 11 having the effect of improving the contrast characteristics and improving the appearance quality is formed by using a rust (G) phosphor to which no is attached.
The red, green, and blue phosphors to which a pigment having a particle size of about 4 μm or less are not attached have no problem in cutting property and mixing / mixing in forming a high-definition display device, but because the pigment is not attached to the phosphor, There is a problem in that contrast characteristics and appearance quality are deteriorated due to high light reflectance, and in order to solve this problem, the pigment is attached to the red and blue phosphors at 4 μm, so that the pigment is not strongly attached to the phosphor core, which is fine particles. The solid content is generated due to the occurrence of the solids, the dispersibility of the phosphor slurry is lowered and the settling speed is deteriorated, so that the solid content is generated due to the aggregation occurs, so that a high-quality fluorescent film cannot be formed.
반면에 안료가 부착된 형광체의 입자사이즈가 6.0㎛ 이상일 경우는 형광체슬러리의 분산성 및 침강속도에는 아무런 문제가 없으나 0.24피치의 고정세 표시 소자에 있어서는 커팅성이 현저히 떨어져 혼입/혼색 등의 문제점이 발생하여 고품위의 형광막을 형성할 수 없게된다. 이를 도 7 에 도시하였다.On the other hand, if the particle size of the phosphor with pigment is 6.0 μm or more, there is no problem in the dispersibility and sedimentation speed of the phosphor slurry. It becomes impossible to form high quality fluorescent film. This is illustrated in FIG. 7.
However, in the phosphor having a particle size of about 5 μm, as shown in FIG. 5, the dispersibility and aggregation of the phosphor itself are equivalent to those of the phosphor of 6 μm, and the firing conditions of the phosphor manufacturing process are different from those of the phosphor of 6 μm. In order to maintain the particle size at 5 μm, about 30% of the prepared phosphor may be removed by sedimentation / floating method. This is a 40% reduction in removal rate compared to the conventional 4㎛ phosphor. When a pigment having a particle size of 0.1 μm or less is attached to a 5 μm phosphor having such characteristics by using a polymer material such as latex, dispersibility and cohesion are not different from those of a 5 μm phosphor having no pigment attached thereto. The same, the value of the supernatant transmittance mentioned above was also 85%.
이는 도포과정에서 고형분의 발생없이 형광막(11)을 형성함을 의미한다.This means that the fluorescent film 11 is formed without generation of solids in the coating process.
Also, in the conventional 0.24 pitch high-definition display device, the cutting property of the phosphor with a pigment having a particle size of about 5 μm was not different from that of the phosphor without a pigment having a particle size of 4 μm. As shown in Fig. 6, in the light emission luminance according to the particle size of the phosphor, the phosphor of 5 μm is improved by about 5% compared to the phosphor of 4 μm, but when the pigment is attached to secure the contrast property, the emission luminance does not adhere to the pigment. It has a value of 100% level when compared with 4 μm phosphor.
Accordingly, the
적색안료의 부착량이 0.05wt% 이하가 되면 적색 형광체의 분말 반사율이 65% 이상이 되어 콘트라스트 특성이 24∼25가 됨으로 종래 형광체에 비해 콘트라스트 특성의 향상이 없게 되며, 적색 안료의 부착량이 0.1wt% 이상이 되면 적색 형광체의 분말 반사율이 55% 이하가 되어 휘도 특성이 종래 형광체에 비해 100% 이하가 되는 문제점이 발생한다.When the amount of the red pigment is 0.05wt% or less, the powder reflectance of the red phosphor becomes 65% or more and the contrast characteristic is 24 to 25, so that the contrast characteristic is not improved compared to the conventional phosphor, and the amount of the red pigment is 0.1wt%. In this case, the powder reflectance of the red phosphor becomes 55% or less, resulting in a problem that the luminance characteristic is 100% or less than that of the conventional phosphor.
In addition, the blue phosphor 11B of the present invention is also a phosphor having a pigment having a particle size of 5 ± 0.5 μm, thereby reducing the reflectance of external light, thereby improving contrast characteristics from the conventional 24 to 27 to 29, and simultaneously improving the luminance characteristic. In order to be more than 100% compared to 4 μm of phosphors having no fluorescence, the amount of blue pigment (CoO · Al 2 O 3 ) should be 0.5 to 1 wt% and the reflectance at 600 nm should be 57 ± 5%.
청색안료의 부착량이 0.5wt% 이하가 되면 청색 형광체의 분말 반사율이 62% 이상이 되어 콘트라스트 특성이 24∼25가 됨으로 종래 형광체에 비해 콘트라스트 특성의 향상이 없게 되며, 청색 안료의 부착량이 1wt% 이상이 되면 청색 형광체의 분말 반사율이 52% 이하가 되어 휘도특성이 종래 형광체에 비해 100% 이하가 되는 문제점이 발생한다.When the amount of the blue pigment is 0.5wt% or less, the powder reflectance of the blue phosphor is 62% or more and the contrast characteristic is 24-25, so that there is no improvement in the contrast characteristic compared to the conventional phosphor, and the amount of the blue pigment is 1wt% or more. In this case, the powder reflectance of the blue phosphor becomes 52% or less, which causes a problem that the luminance characteristic is 100% or less than that of the conventional phosphor.
본 발명의 녹색 형광체(11G)는 형광체 제조의 용이성과 안료 부착에 의해 발생되는 발광 휘도의 저하를 없애고, 본 발명에 의한 적.청 형광체와의 입도의 균일성을 통해 형광막의 평탄도를 확보하여 메탈 백 효과의 증대로 인한 발광휘도를 높이도록 형광체에 안료를 부착하지 않고 입자 사이즈만을 5±0.5㎛로 확대시킨 것이다.The
In the fluorescent surface forming method of the present invention, the precoat liquid is applied to the inner surface of the funnel glass 3 on which the
이상 설명한 바와같이 본 발명의 형광면 형성방법은 종래에 비해 적 형광체와 청 형광체에 안료를 부착함으로 인해 외부광에 의한 반사율이 현저히 감소하게 되어 콘트라스트 특성이 10∼20% 향상되며, 입자 사이즈가 4㎛에서 5±0.5㎛로 커짐으로 인해 발광휘도에 있어서도 2∼5% 높아지는 효과가 있다.As described above, the fluorescent surface forming method of the present invention significantly reduces the reflectance by external light due to the adhesion of pigments to red phosphors and blue phosphors, resulting in a 10 to 20% increase in contrast characteristics and a particle size of 4 μm. Due to the increase to 5 ± 0.5 ㎛ in 2 to 5% also has the effect of increasing the luminance.
또한, 본 발명의 형광체를 적용할 경우 적 형광체와 청 형광체에 안료를 부착함으로 인해 외부광의 반사를 줄여줌과 동시에 패널의 초록색상을 흡수 함으로 인해 튜브의 외관 품위의 향상에도 기여하고 있다.In addition, when the phosphor of the present invention is applied, the pigment is attached to the red phosphor and the blue phosphor, thereby reducing the reflection of external light and contributing to the improvement of the appearance of the tube by absorbing the green color of the panel.
그리고 튜브의 제조 원가적인 측면에서도 형광체의 입자 사이즈가 증가함으로 인해 형광체의 제조 수율이 30%에서 70% 이상으로 높아지게 됨으로 인해 형광체 가격이 낮아지게 되며 특히, 적 형광체의 가격이 30% 정도 낮아져 튜브의 제조 원가 절감에도 기여하게 되는 효과가 있다.In addition, in terms of the manufacturing cost of the tube, as the particle size of the phosphor is increased, the production yield of the phosphor is increased from 30% to 70% or more, thereby lowering the phosphor price. In particular, the red phosphor is reduced by about 30%. It also contributes to manufacturing cost savings.
