Abstract
Description
以下、本開示の被覆工具について、図面を用いて詳細に説明する。但し、以下で参照する各図は、説明の便宜上、実施形態を説明する上で必要な主要部材のみを簡略化して示したものである。したがって、本開示の被覆工具は、参照する各図に示されていない任意の構成部材を備え得る。また、各図中の部材の寸法は、実際の構成部材の寸法及び各部材の寸法比率などを忠実に表したものではない。これらの点は、後述する切削工具においても同様である。
次に、本開示の切削工具について図面を用いて説明する。
(1)平板コリメータ
(2)走査方法:同心円
(3)β走査範囲:0〜360°/2.5°ピッチ
(4)θ固定角度:AlTiN結晶の(111)面の回折角度は36.0°から38.0°までの間で回折強度が最も高くなる角度とする。AlTiN結晶の(200)面の回折角度は42.0°から44.0°までの間で回折強度が最も高くなる角度とする。
(5)α走査範囲:0〜90°/2.5°ステップ
(6)ターゲット:CuKα、電圧:45kV、電流:40mA
また、剥離荷重は、スクラッチ試験機にて荷重範囲0〜100Nとして、剥離が生じた荷重を測定した。

Claims (14)
- 基体と、該基体の上に位置する被覆層とを備え、
該被覆層は、周期表4、5、6族元素、Al、Si、B、YおよびMnの中のうちの少なくとも1種の元素と、C、NおよびOのうちの少なくとも1種の元素とを含む立方晶の結晶を含有し、
前記被覆層は、前記立方晶の結晶の(111)面に関する正極点図のα軸のX線強度分布において、
0°〜90°の間に位置する第1ピークと、
該第1ピークよりも高角度に位置する第2ピークと、を有し、
さらに、前記第1ピークおよび前記第2ピークの間に、前記第1ピークおよび前記第2ピークのX線強度よりもX線強度が低い谷部を有する、被覆工具。 - 前記被覆層は、前記立方晶の結晶の(111)面に関する正極点図のα軸のX線強度分布において、25°〜40°の間に第1ピークを有し、55°〜70°の間に第2ピークを有する、請求項1に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記第1ピークのX線強度は、前記第2ピークのX線強度よりも大きい、請求項1または2に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記第1ピークのX線強度は、前記第2ピークのX線強度よりも小さい、請求項1または2に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記被覆層は、前記立方晶の結晶の(200)面に関する正極点図のα軸のX線強度分布において、
0°〜90°の間に位置する第3ピークと、
該第3ピークよりも高角度に位置する第4ピークとを有し、
さらに、前記第3ピークおよび前記第4ピークの間に、前記第3ピークおよび前記第4ピークのX線強度よりもX線強度が低い谷部を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の被覆工具。 - 前記被覆層は、前記立方晶の結晶の(200)面に関する正極点図のα軸のX線強度分布において、15°〜30°の間に第3ピークを有し、60°〜75°の間に第4ピークを有する、請求項5に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記第4ピークのX線強度は、前記第3ピークのX線強度の0.95倍以下である、請求項5または6に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記第4ピークのX線強度は、前記第3ピークのX線強度の0.95倍より大きく、1.15倍より小さい、請求項5または6に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記第4ピークのX線強度は、前記第3ピークのX線強度の1.15倍以上である、請求項5または6に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記被覆層は、前記立方晶の結晶としてAlTiN結晶を含有するAlTiN層を有する、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の被覆工具。
- 前記被覆層は、前記立方晶の結晶としてAlCrN結晶を含有するAlCrN層を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の被覆工具。
- 前記被覆層は、複数の前記AlTiN層および複数の前記AlCrN層を有する請求項11に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記基体は、炭化タングステン及びコバルトを含有する請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の被覆工具。
- 第1端から第2端に向かって延び、前記第1端側にポケットを有するホルダと、
前記ポケットに位置する請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の被覆工具と、を備えた切削工具。
