Description
The present invention relates to an inkjet head, an inkjet recording device, and a method for manufacturing an inkjet head.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, an inkjet recording device that forms an image or the like by ejecting ink from a nozzle is known. An inkjet head of an inkjet recording apparatus has a nozzle substrate having a plurality of nozzle holes and a liquid-repellent film formed on the ejection surface side.
As the nozzle substrate, there is known a nozzle substrate having an inner wall of a nozzle hole and a plurality of ink-resistant protective films formed thereon (see Patent Document 1). This nozzle substrate firstly forms a silicon oxide film having a high film-forming property, and then deposits it on the inner wall, emission surface (front surface) and channel side surface (rear surface) by the CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) method. The structure is such that a metal oxide protective film having ink resistance is formed, and then a water repellent film (liquid repellent film) is formed on the emission surface side. This structure is intended to improve the durability against the state where the ink is in contact with the nozzle substrate.
There is also known a nozzle substrate in which a silicon nitride film and a silicon oxide film are formed on the surface on the flow path side and the silicon oxide film is removed together with grinding dust (see Patent Document 2).
On the other hand, as a characteristic required for the liquid repellent film formed on the ejection surface side of the nozzle substrate, abrasion resistance can be mentioned. However, as in the nozzle substrate of Patent Document 1, when a metal oxide or a silicon oxide film is used for maintenance. It is likely to be worn away due to wiping off and the liquid repellency will decrease. In particular, when wiping is performed with the ink containing the coloring material wet on the ejection surface, the liquid repellency is reduced and at the same time, the metal oxide or silicon oxide film of the liquid repellent film underlayer is reduced.
Further, also in the nozzle substrate of Patent Document 2, there is no protective film on the ejection surface side, and the liquid repellency is deteriorated due to abrasion.

(Embodiment)
An embodiment according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. First, the device configuration of the inkjet recording device 1 according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3B. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the configuration of an inkjet recording device 1 according to the present embodiment as viewed from the front.
The inkjet recording device 1 includes a
The
The
The
The
The
The
4つのヘッドユニット24は、C(シアン)M(マゼンタ)Y(イエロー)K(ブラック)4色のインクをそれぞれ出力する。
The
The
The
The
The
2A and 2B are diagrams showing the configuration of the
The
The fixing
As shown in FIG. 2B, each

The
As shown in FIG. 3B, the

The
The relative position (distance) between the

Next, the
Each

Next, the configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 5, the

In recent years, the use of inkjet printing in the textile field has advanced. Compared with the traditional printing method, there is no need to make a plate in inkjet printing, a small number of lots can be handled, and the amount of ink waste liquid is small. When polyester or synthetic fiber is used as the recording medium R, an aqueous ink such as a disperse dye ink or a sublimable ink is used, but an additive such as a dispersant exhibits alkalinity. In the ink containing pigment molecules, the dispersion of the pigment molecules is controlled by the pH of the ink. In an alkaline environment, hydrolysis of the liquid repellent film is promoted, so that the liquid repellent film formed by conventional silane coupling has low reliability. Even when the printing ink itself is neutral or weakly alkaline, a fabric coated with an alkaline pretreatment agent for improving the color developability may be used. The treatment agent may affect the reliability of the liquid repellency of the surface of the subsequent inkjet head.
On the other hand, the silicon nitride film has high chemical stability. Therefore, in the region where the ink and the pretreatment agent are alkaline, the liquid-
Next, with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8, a method of manufacturing the
A first nozzle substrate manufacturing process for manufacturing the
Then, as shown in FIG. 7B, the manufacturer forms the liquid
Then, as shown in FIG. 7C, the manufacturer forms the
Then, the
Then, as shown in FIG. 7D, the manufacturer forms a liquid repellent film
Then, the
FIG. 8 shows the composition ratio [%] of silicon Si, oxygen O, and nitrogen N depending on the coordinates of the formed
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the
The ink also contains pigment molecules such as carbon black. For this reason, it is possible to suppress the large chemical mechanical polishing effect at the time of wiping the ink in which the pigment molecules behave like abrasive particles, and it is possible to further prevent the liquid repellency on the ejection surface side of the
Also, the ink is alkaline. Particularly, in the region where the pH of the ink is> 9, the silicon oxide film SiO 2 is dissolved. Therefore, as compared with the conventional configuration in which the silicon oxide film SiO 2 is used for the liquid repellent film underlayer, the silicon nitride film on the surface of the liquid
The
The inkjet recording apparatus 1 also includes an
In the manufacture of the
Further, a liquid repellent

A fifth nozzle substrate manufacturing process for manufacturing the
By making the liquid
FIG. 19 shows the composition ratio [%] of silicon Si, oxygen O, and nitrogen N according to the coordinates of the formed
As described above, according to this modification, the liquid repellent
(Fifth Modification)
A fifth modification of the above-described embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 20 and 21. The apparatus configuration of the present modification is the same as that of the inkjet recording apparatus 1 of the above-described embodiment, except that the liquid

A sixth nozzle substrate manufacturing process for manufacturing the
Then, the manufacturer performs an additional oxidation process on the liquid
The silicon oxynitride film for improving chemical mechanical polishing resistance may be formed at least near the surface layer. For this reason, in this modification, the liquid repellent
FIG. 21 shows the composition ratio [%] of silicon Si, oxygen O, and nitrogen N according to the coordinates of the formed
As described above, according to this modification, the liquid-
(Sixth Modification)
A sixth modification of the above-described embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 22 and 23. The apparatus configuration of this modification is the same as that of the inkjet recording apparatus 1 of the above-described embodiment, except that the liquid
A method of manufacturing the
The seventh nozzle substrate manufacturing process for manufacturing the
Then, the manufacturer performs additional nitriding treatment on the liquid
The silicon oxynitride film for improving chemical mechanical polishing resistance may be formed at least near the surface layer. For this reason, in this modification, the surface is made SiON by additionally performing a nitriding treatment after forming the silicon oxide film. By using the liquid
FIG. 23 shows the composition ratio [%] of silicon Si, oxygen O, and nitrogen N according to the coordinates of the formed
As described above, according to this modification, the liquid-repellent
(Seventh Modification)
A seventh modification of the above-described embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 24 and 25. The apparatus configuration of the present modification is the same as that of the inkjet recording apparatus 1 of the above-described embodiment, except that the liquid
A manufacturing method of the

FIG. 25 shows the composition ratio [%] of silicon Si, oxygen O, and nitrogen N according to the coordinates of the formed
In this way, in the film forming process, the addition amount (ratio) of the nitrogen source gas and the oxygen source gas is controlled so that the nitrogen concentration on the surface (the surface on which the
As described above, according to the present modification, the liquid-
