Abstract
Description
[1] 潤滑油基油と、含窒素化合物からなる増ちょう剤と、トリグリセライドと、ジエステルと、窒化ホウ素と、を含有し、トリグリセライドとジエステルとの合計の含有量が、グリース組成物全量基準で1〜5質量%であり、ジエステルの含有量に対するトリグリセライドの含有量の質量比(トリグリセライド/ジエステル)が0.3〜1.5である、等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
[2] 有機モリブデンと、ジチオリン酸亜鉛と、ポリサルファイドと、をさらに含有する、[1]に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
[3] グリース組成物全量基準で、有機モリブデンの含有量が、モリブデン元素換算で0.05〜0.5質量%であり、有機モリブデン、ジチオリン酸亜鉛およびポリサルファイドの合計の含有量が2〜5質量%である、[2]に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
[4] グリース組成物全量基準で、前記窒化ホウ素の含有量が0.05〜1質量%である、[1]〜[3]のいずれかに記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
[5] 自動車用ドライブシャフトに適用される等速ジョイントの潤滑に用いられる、[1]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
[6] [1]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物が封入されている等速ジョイント。
本発明の第1実施形態に係る等速ジョイント用グリース組成物は、(a)潤滑油基油と、(b)含窒素化合物からなる増ちょう剤と、(c)トリグリセライドと、(d)ジエステルと、(h)窒化ホウ素とを含有する。このグリース組成物では、トリグリセライドとジエステルとの合計の含有量が、グリース組成物全量基準で1〜5質量%であり、ジエステルの含有量に対するトリグリセライドの含有量の質量比(トリグリセライド/ジエステル)が0.3〜1.5である。
A−NH−(C=O)−NH−R1−NH−(C=O)−NH−B (1)
一般式(1)中、R1は2価の有機基を表し、好ましくは2価の炭化水素基を表す。かかる2価の炭化水素基としては、具体的には、直鎖または分枝状のアルキレン基、直鎖または分枝状のアルケニレン基、シクロアルキレン基、アリーレン基、アルキルアリーレン基、アリールアルキレン基等が挙げられる。また、A、Bは、1価の有機基を表し、好ましくは1価の炭化水素基を表す。かかる1価の炭化水素基としては、具体的には、直鎖または分枝状のアルキル基、直鎖または分枝状アルケニル基、シクロアルキル基、アリール基、アルキルアリール基、アリールアルキル基等が挙げられる。
A−NH−(C=O)−NH−R1−NH−(C=O)−O−B (2)
一般式(2)中、R1は2価の有機基を表し、好ましくは2価の炭化水素基を表す。かかる2価の炭化水素基としては、具体的には、直鎖または分枝状のアルキレン基、直鎖または分枝状のアルケニレン基、シクロアルキレン基、アリーレン基、アルキルアリーレン基、アリールアルキレン基等が挙げられる。また、A、Bは、1価の有機基を表し、好ましくは1価の炭化水素基を表す。かかる1価の炭化水素基としては、具体的には、直鎖または分枝状のアルキル基、直鎖または分枝状アルケニル基、シクロアルキル基、アリール基、アルキルアリール基、アリールアルキル基等が挙げられる。
R10−Sx−R11 (6)
一般式(6)中、R10およびR11は互いに同一でも異なっていてもよく、それぞれ炭素数3〜20の直鎖状または分枝状のアルキル基、炭素数6〜20のアリール基、炭素数6〜20のアルカリール基あるいは炭素数6〜20のアラルキル基を表し、xは2〜6の整数、好ましくは2〜5の整数を表す。
本発明の第2実施形態に係る等速ジョイントは、上記第1実施形態に係る等速ジョイント用グリース組成物が封入されている等速ジョイントである。等速ジョイントとしては、固定式等速ジョイントや摺動式等速ジョイントの構造を用いることができる。固定式等速ジョイントには、転動体がボールであるもの、摺動式等速ジョイントには、転動体がボールまたはローラであるものが挙げられる。
実施例および比較例におけるグリース組成物の組成を表1に示す。表1中の各成分は、以下のとおりである。
実施例1〜6:
パラフィン鉱油1(100℃における動粘度:10.7mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:93.9mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.8858g/cm3)と、パラフィン鉱油2(100℃における動粘度:31.7mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:500mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.9008g/cm3)と、ナフテン鉱油(100℃における動粘度:2.2mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:8.0mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.9115g/cm3)とを質量比45:45:10で混合した潤滑油基油(100℃における動粘度:13.1mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:129.9mm2/s)。
比較例1:
パラフィン鉱油1(100℃における動粘度:10.7mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:93.9mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.8858g/cm3)と、パラフィン鉱油2(100℃における動粘度:31.7mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:500mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.9008g/cm3)と、ナフテン鉱油(100℃における動粘度:6.5mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:68.3mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.9292g/cm3)とを質量比45:45:10で混合した潤滑油基油(100℃における動粘度:15.7mm2/s、40℃における動粘度:179.2mm2/s)。
(b)ウレア・ウレタン系増ちょう剤:ジフェニルメタン−4−4’−ジイソシアネートとシクロヘキシルアミンおよびオクタデシルアルコールとの反応により生成したウレア・ウレタン系化合物。
(c)トリグリセライド:豚脂。
(d)ジエステル:ジオクチルアジペート(アジピン酸と2−エチルヘキサノールとのジエステル)。
(e)モリブデンジチオカーバメート(MoDTC):モリブデンジチオカーバメート全量基準で、モリブデン元素含有量が29質量%、硫黄元素含有量が28質量%である、一般式(3)で表されるモリブデンジチオカーバメート。
(f)ジチオリン酸亜鉛(ZnDTP):一般式(5)のR6〜R9が炭素数3〜8のセカンダリー構造のアルキル基であり、ジチオリン酸亜鉛全量基準で、亜鉛元素含有量が10質量%、りん元素含有量が9質量%、硫黄元素含有量が18質量%のジチオリン酸亜鉛。
(g)ポリサルファイド:硫黄元素含有量がポリサルファイド基準で42質量%である、一般式(6)で表されるポリサルファイド。
(h)窒化ホウ素:平均粒子径が2μmの六方晶系窒化ホウ素粉体。
(i)アミン系酸化防止剤および防錆剤(金属スルフォネート)。
JIS K2220に準拠して、60Wでのちょう度を測定した。
JIS K2220に準拠して、軸受6204 C3にグリースを封入し、−30℃の条件で回転トルクを測定した。回転初期のトルクが300mNm以下の場合を「A」、300mNm超え400mNm以下の場合を「B」、400mNm超えの場合を「C」として評価した。その後、等速ジョイントに封入した試験においても同様の結果が得られた。
ASTM D5707に準拠して、100N、30Hz、±1mm、30分間、ボール/プレートの条件で摩擦係数を測定した。摩擦係数が0.08以下の場合を「A」、0.08超え0.09以下の場合を「B」、0.09超えの場合を「C」として評価した。摩擦試験においても、その後、等速ジョイントに封入した試験では同様の結果が得られた。

- 潤滑油基油と、
含窒素化合物からなる増ちょう剤と、
トリグリセライドと、
ジエステルと、
窒化ホウ素と、を含有し、
前記トリグリセライドおよび前記ジエステルの合計の含有量が、グリース組成物全量基準で1〜5質量%であり、前記ジエステルの含有量に対する前記トリグリセライドの含有量の質量比(トリグリセライド/ジエステル)が0.3〜1.5である、等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。 - 有機モリブデンと、ジチオリン酸亜鉛と、ポリサルファイドと、をさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
- グリース組成物全量基準で、
前記有機モリブデンの含有量が、モリブデン元素換算で0.05〜0.5質量%であり、
前記有機モリブデン、前記ジチオリン酸亜鉛および前記ポリサルファイドの合計の含有量が2〜5質量%である、請求項2に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。 - グリース組成物全量基準で、
前記窒化ホウ素の含有量が0.05〜1質量%である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。 - 自動車用ドライブシャフトに適用される等速ジョイントの潤滑に用いられる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の等速ジョイント用グリース組成物が封入されている等速ジョイント。
