Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate deciding of the optimum sizes by letting a user sit on a specified measuring device to put his feet on pedals, checking if pedaling can be conducted naturally, and measuring positions, etc., of a seat post and a head pipe post. CONSTITUTION: In a measuring machine, a hanger part 3 is provided on an upper end of a support column 2 provided to stand at a center of a base 1, and a lower part of a seat post 10 having a gauge 10a to indicate a seat size is engaged with a vertical pipe 4 provided above it. A lower part of a head pipe post 13 having a gauge 13a to indicate a size is engaged with a front pipe 5 provided to stand at a front part of the base 1, and a vertial handle post 15 is engaged with a head pipe 14 fixed at an upper end in such a way that a vertical position of it is adjustable. In addition, a bar 17 having an index 18 is fixed to the head pipe 14 along an extended line of it at a corresponding position to a hub of a front wheel.
