Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure safety, in a system where an existing railway line is extended to a new city traffic system having short operational interval for the benefit of traffic of neighboring cities, by controlling extension according to result of decision whether the diagram is disturbed. Computers 9 for controlling operation of the lines 2, 3 are provided to respective lines 2, 3 and connected to a computer 10 in central command station. When a conventional vehicle approaches to a conventional line section, advancing path thereof is determined based on a stored information then disturbance of diagram is checked, and if the diagram is disturbed, extension of a new traffic system vehicle to the conventional line is disabled.
