Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and enable use even under the condition where air cooling is impossible by engaging directly either end of a valve, which is formed in a straight-tube shape by translucent ceramics, with one end of a base tube body made of ceramic which form a pair with right and left ones. CONSTITUTION:Engaging step parts 2a, 3a are formed respectively on each one end, on the valve side, of base tube bodies 2, 3 for a valve 1, and these step parts 2a, 3a are engaged directly with end parts of the valve 1, respectively. And the valve 1 and tube bodies 2, 3 are respectively bonded through glass solder material filled between these engaging faces. Hereby heat resistance at a sealed part can be sharply improved, so it can be used even under the condition where air cooling is impossible. In addition, there is provided a partition 11 for narrowing a part of the space between an anode 8 and one base tube body 2 through which these are pierced than the space of other part. Hereby, convection of charged gas toward a mouth piece 4 which holds the anode 8 can be prevented and temperature rise of the mouth piece 4 can be reduced.
