Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the vibration characteristics of a vibrator by providing a vibrating pen with the vibrator and an electrode for inputting an electric signal and pressing the electrode against the electrode of the vibrator to input a driving electric signal to the vibrator. CONSTITUTION:The vibrator 4 is supported by projections 20a, 5a respectively formed on a supporting member 20 arranged in a pen shaft 23 and the rear end part of a hone part 5 and respectively having circular sections. Driving electrodes are formed on the outer and inner peripheries of the vibrator 4 by applying silver past or the like. Electrodes 21, 22 are embedded in the supporting member 20a and the electrodes 21, 22 are respectively pressed against the inside and outside driving electrodes of the vibrator 4. When the electrodes 21, 22 are pressed against the positions of nodes of vibration generated from the vibrator in said constitution, the vibration characteristics of the vibrator 4 can be stabilized. On the other hand, the electrodes 21, 22 for inputting driving signals are pressed against the driving electrodes and electrically connected and soldering or the like is not used for circuit connection, so that the resonance characteristics of the vibrator 4 are not changed.
