Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an excellent characteristic with a low loss by connecting a reference potential point of an input signal to one electrode terminal relating to an adjacent common electrode of the 1st and 2nd tilt electrode type cross length weighted transducers and connecting a signal source to the other so as to reduce a spurious wave to be produced from both outer ends of the transducer with weighted tilt electrode type cross length. CONSTITUTION:A transducer 10 with weighted tilt electrode type cross length is cut off at a position corresponding to the acoustic center in a 3-transducer type surface acoustic device. The common electrodes 11, 12 and 11', 12' are provided respectively to a 1st transducer 10a and a 2nd transducer 10b formed in such a way. A signal source 50 is connected to the common electrodes 11, 11' and the reference potential point is connected to the common electrodes 12, 12'. Then, the length of openings l2, l2' at the signal application side generating a spurious radiation is set minutely in any direction around the acoustic center. Thus, the advantage of the transducer 10 and the low loss being a feature of the 3-transducer structure are utilized sufficiently.
