Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce noise in a compartment at the time of power transmission by bringing both end portions of each pin into frictional contact with a V-pulley to form the first pivot, and bringing rolling surfaces of block pieces positioned between the pins into contact with each other to form the second pivot. CONSTITUTION:A pin 60 has both end surfaces thereof brought into frictional contact with a V-pulley to form the first pivot. Pin fitting holes 42, 52 in link plates 40, 50 are formed larger than the opposite pin fitting holes 41, 51 so as to provide a designated play between the pins 60. Further, rolling surfaces 73, 74 of block pieces 71, 72 are brought into contact with each other to form the second pivot. In this arrangement, bending pitch P at the time of wrapping round a pulley is between the above first pivot and the second pivot, which is subtantially half the conventional pitch, so that a polygon formed by the respective pitches P gets nearer to a circle. Accordingly, fluctuation in tension at the time of power transmission is reduced to the half of the conventional belt, so that noise in a compartment can be reduced.
