Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a fine oil control to be performed by constituting a device providing an oil tank separately from an oil pan and supplying oil in the oil tank by actuating a motor-driven oil pump to each lubricating part through each supply oil circuit respectively interposing a pressure control valve. CONSTITUTION:An engine main unit 1, having a crankshaft bearing part, piston sliding part and respective, lubricating part 2-4 or the like in a tappet valve system, is equipped in the bottom part with an oil pan 5. An oil tank 6 of large size independently of the oil pan 5, a motor 7 drives an oil pump 8, is provided and its suction side communicates by connecting to the oil tank 6. The oil pump 8 connects its delivery side to each lubricating part 2-4 by each oil line 11a-11c providing pressure control valves 10a-10c. While upper space of the oil tank 6 respectively communicates with a suction pipe 14 or inside a crankcase via a solenoid valve 15. Each valve 10a-10c, 15 and the motor 7 are controlled being based on a load of an engine and its speed.
