Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of recovering energy by providing a means for adding the turning force of an impeller due to the kinetic energy of dropping fluid flow to the turning force of impeller due to the kinetic energy of ascending gas flow. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust tube 1 used as a guide for exhaust and ascending gas flow is erected through a support leg 11 on the water level of pond, river, sea, etc., and a water tank 3 is additionally provided close to a discharge port 14 on the upper end of the exhaust tube 1. Respective impellers 51, 56, 57 and 13a (hereinafter called 51, etc.) are pivoted by the kinetic energy of water dropping from the water tank 3 through conduits 31, 32. And a generator is driven to generate electric power through flywheels provided on rotary shafts of respective impellers 51, etc. by said impellers. Also, the respective impellers 51, etc. can be rotated in the same direction by gas flow 2 ascending through the exhaust tube 1. Water is supplied into the water tank 3 by a pumping means S such as a pump.
