Abstract
PURPOSE:To take counter measure against fatigue of overhead line, in a vibration isolator wherein a wire accompanies the overhead line while loosened properly, by providing a mechanically weak point at a part of the accompanying wire thereby damaging the accompanying wire first. CONSTITUTION:An accompanying loose wire 2 is detachably attached to an overhead line 1 with clamps 3 thus constituting a vibration isolator. A mechanical weak point is provided to a part of the accompanying wire 2. Mechanical weak point is provided, for example, by forming a slight cut 6 into a strand 5 on the surface of the accompanying wire 2. Since the accompanying wire 2 is damaged before the overhead line 1 is damaged due to fatigue, counter measure can be taken against damage of the overhead wire 1 due to fatigue.
