Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the voltage variation of a cell by processing a load corresponding to a gas flow rate or an air flow rate, limit-treating the processed value by the output of a fuel cell, and giving the value as a load instruction value to an inverter. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic and logic unit 5 outputs a control signal which controls a valve 2 installed on the way of a pipeline 1 from a closed state to a fully opined state according to a load instruction 6. Gas flow rate flowing the pipeline is varied and detected with a detector 7. A load corresponding to the utilization is obtained with a computing element 8 based on the detected value, and the output of a fuel cell 3 is detected with a detector 9, then the load obtained with the computing element 8 is limit-treated with the load of the detector 9. By using this value as the load instruction value to an inverter 4, the voltage variation of the fuel cell 3 is reduced and AC electric power is supplied from the inverter 4. The electric power supplied from the fuel cell 3 according to the variation of a gas flow rate is converted into AC electric power with the inverter 4 and the voltage variation of the fuel cell 3 corresponding to the load variation is reduced.
