Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a bridge-connected inverter having sufficient rapid response for abrupt variation of input DC voltage by detecting the abrupt variation of the voltage of a DC power source to be converted and inputting the detection signal to the phase shifter in the inverter control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Thyristors CR1-CR4 in the bridge-connected inverter for supplying AC current converted from DC form a DC power source E to a load Z1 is controlled in conduction by the outputs CR1-CR4 from the control circuit including an output voltage detector Pv, voltage setting unit Sv, comparator COM, phase shifter PS', oscillator OSC and gate amplifiers GV, GI. Since the varied amount of the output voltage of the DC power source E is detected by a detector Es and the detection signal is applied to the phase shifter PS', the rapid response to the output abrupt variation can be enhanced in the DC power source E.
