Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent ability drop due to dark current discharge of a main power supply by furnishing a selector switch at a dark current terminal connected to apparatus which requires the power to be supplied at all times, and by switching over freely from a car battery as main power supply to an aux. battery and vice versa. CONSTITUTION:Apart from a car battery 11 as main power supply, an aux. power supply 16 is furnished, which is connected to a backup memory of an electronic circuit for control system and a dark current terminal 15 of electrical clock through a selector switch 17. The aux. power supply 16 is connected to an accessary contact 7 of a main switch. When the selector switch 17 is switched over to aux. power supply 16 side, compensation of dark current is made by the aux. power supply 16 so as to reduce burden of the battery 11 as main power supply, and thus it is prevented from self-discharging. When the aux. power supply 16 is connected to the accessary contact 7, discharging of the battery as main power supply can be reduced at the time of turning on a radio set etc.
