Abstract

PURPOSE:To attempt the improvement and the like in a heat radiation effect by means of communication passages by arranging communication passages communicating independent exhaust gas passages with each other underneath the exhaust gas passages in a device wherein independent exhaust gas passages are connected to each exhaust port of cylinders. CONSTITUTION:Each exhaust port 3a through 3d of respective cylinders 2a through 2d is formed within a cylinder head 1, and each independent exhaust gas passage 4a through 4d is connected with each exhaust gas port 3a through 3d concurrently wherein the aforesaid independent exhaust gas passages 4a through 4d are joined with each other at their downstream so as to form a collected exhaust gas passage 5. In this constitution, each of NO.1 and NO.4 independent exhaust gas passages 4a and 4d is communicated each other by NO.1 communication passage 6ad, and each of NO.2 and NO.3 independent exhaust gas passages 4b and 4c is also communicated each other by NO.2 communication passage 6bc. In this case, NO.1 communication passage 6ad is arranged in parallel with the cylinder arrangement direction while being extended underneath each independent exhaust gas passage 4a through 4d.
