Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a hot dip galvanized steel sheet having high yield point and excellent in bendability and adhesive strength of plating, by subjecting a slab in which specific amounts of B and Nb are combindly added to hot rolling, cold rolling, and imperfect recrystallization annealing under specific conditions and then applying hot dip galvanizing to the above. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing a corrosion-resisting hot dip galvanized steel sheet used in various fields such as automobiles, household electrical appliances, and buildings, a slab having a composition containing, by weight, 0.01-0.15% C, <0.30% Si, <1.0% Mn, <0.06% P, <0.10% acid- soluble Al, 0.005-0.04% Nb, <0.0060% N, and N%X11/14-N%X11/14+0.0030% B is hot-rolled into a plate, which is coiled at <=650 deg.C. Successively, this plate is worked to the final thickness by means of cold rolling at >=30% draft, and the resulting sheet is subjected to imperfect recrystallization annealing at >=650 deg.C for <=40sec, followed by hot dip galvanizing.
