Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the change of toe-out of a rear wheel by installing an elastic bush at all the installation points of the A type arms and allowing the spring constant of the elastic bush installed at the wheel support installation point to be provided with a specific direction characteristic. CONSTITUTION:As for the upper and lower arms 1 and 2 of the A mold, the branched parts 4a, 4b and 5a, 5b are pivotally installed onto a car body 3. A wheel support 7 which supports wheels 8 is connected with the upper and lower arms 1 and 2 through a ball joint 9 and an elastic bush 10. Further, the wheel-support 7 and the car body 3 are connected through a control link 11. In such structure, the wheel support 7 is supported onto the top edge part of the lower arm 2 through the elastic bush 10. Because of the elastic bush 10, each spring constant in the shift displacement to the car body rear side of the wheel support 7 and the turning displacement around the axis line of the elastic bush 10 can be set low.
