Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the high temp. property of a cladding by welding part by mixing at the specified rate a niobium carbide particle by composing a matrix metal by the C, Si, Mn, Ci, Co, Al, and Fe of the specified wt.% respectively. CONSTITUTION:The welding material for cladding by welding is formed by a matrix metal part and the ceramic particle consisting of a niobium carbide particle. In this case, the matrix metal is taken to contain in wt.% <=0.08% C, <=2% Si, 0.3-2% Mn, 4-30% Ni, 15-30% Cr, 5-40% Co, <=5% Al and the balance Fe. The ceramic particle of a dispersion layer is taken as a niobium carbide particle and at the rate of 10-90% in the mixture with the matrix metal part. The niobium carbide has a stability in the temp. zone exceeding 1300 deg.C and the matrix metal improve its compression deformation resistance in the same temp. zone. Consequently the high temp. property of the cladding by welding, part is improved.
