Abstract
PURPOSE: To emit the light only in irradiation of ultraviolet rays not emitting in a visible light state by successively forming an ultraviolet ray excitation luminescent printing layer and an adhesive layer on a base film directly or through a mold releasing agent layer. CONSTITUTION: At least an ultraviolet ray excitation luminescent printing layer 3 and an adhesive layer 4 are successively formed on a base film 1 directly or through a mold releasing agent layer 2. Whereby the fluorescent coloring is not found under the visible light and the superior ultraviolet ray excitation emission is obtained only in the irradiation of the ultraviolet rays, so that the light-emitting performance and the applicability to the design in a wide range can be remarkably improved, and a transfer foil by which the ultraviolet ray excitation luminescent printing layer can be formed on a surface of a member to be transferred. As the base film 1, that having the sufficient self-holding property, for example, a resin such as polyester, polyamide, fluorine resin or the like, a film or sheet material such as cellophane paper, glassine paper or the like, the released paper, the released film or the like can be properly used. As a resin of a coating material forming the ultraviolet ray excitation fluorescent printing layer 3, a thermoplastic resin, a thermosetting resin or the like can be used.
