Abstract
PURPOSE:To select proper filling time and optimum molten material temperature by finding function with variables of filling times for the lowest molten material temperature of respective elements resulted from computing molten material temperature distribution at the time of completion of filling. CONSTITUTION:Dividing of elements of a molded product model is carried out for the purpose of resin fluid analysis in a mold and the finite element method is applied. The mold temperature is fixed (60 deg.C), and one or two kinds or more of resin temperatures, for instance, three kinds of temperatures of resins flowing into the mold, namely 200 deg.C, 220 deg.C and 260 deg.C, are selected, and a molding condition to vary the six kinds of temperature time in the range of 0.2-4sec for respective resin temperatures are set for carrying out analysis computation in order. In a characteristic curve Tn=fn2(t) (n=1, 2, 3) thus obtained, Ts represents the solidifying temperature level of resin. The area in the level less than said solidifying temperature Ts, therefore, is regarded as an area impossible for resin molding, and the temperature not lower than the reference value (Ts+alpha) is used as the evaluation reference of fluidable limit.
