Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of fuming, burning and the blow-off of solder on a short circuit, and to connect a fuse simply by an automatic gear by composing the fuse of a conductor mainly comprising lead and an aluminum layer coating the conductor. CONSTITUTION:A chip-shaped solid electrolytic capacitor with a fuse has the fuse consisting of a conductor mainly comprising lead and an aluminum layer coating the conductor. A connecting section 4a with an anode lead 2 and an external electrode section 4b are supported by a frame 11. The connecting section 4a for an anode lead terminal 4 is welded and fixed to the anode lead 2, and the connecting section 4a and the external electrode section 4b are bridging-connected through an ultrasonic wedge bonding means for the fuse 6, and the bridging-connected section is coated with an silicon resin 7.
