Abstract

PURPOSE: To cause carbon dioxide gas to be moved in a thickness direction and to enable carbon dioxide gas to be easily adsorbed and removed within a short period of time by a method wherein a thermal insulating box is formed by a molded inner box containing carbon dioxide gas-adsorbing agent therein. CONSTITUTION: An inner box 7 forming a thermal insulating box 1 is made of ABS containing calcium hydroxide acting as carbon dioxide adsorbing agent. Rigid urethane foam 4 is filled between the inner box 7 and an outer box 2 to form the thermal insulating box 1. With such an arrangement, carbon dioxide gas contained in the rigid urethane foam 4 is dispersed and moved in a thickness direction of a thermal insulation wall and reaches the carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent impregnated in the inner box 7, resulting in that it becomes possible to perform an easy adsorption and removal of carbon dioxide gas within a short period of time.
