Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent oscillation due to a detoured between transmission/ reception antennas by generating a transmission signal being the result of offsetting slightly a frequency of a reception signal in receiving a radio signal by an antenna and sending the signal from the transmission antenna. CONSTITUTION:The frequency of the radio signal received by the reception antenna 1 is offset slightly such as 100Hz by a frequency conversion section 9 and the resulting signal is sent from the transmission antenna 3 via an amplifier section 2. A level detector 7 detects the peak of a transmission signal and the gain of the amplifier 2 is controlled so that the peak value does not exceeds a specified value, such as a value lower than the saturated output of the amplifier section 2 by 10dB. Thus, the relay gain is controlled depending on the change in the coupling quantity between the transmission and reception antennas 1 and 3 and the optimum gain is ensured always for the repeater. The tilted device is suitable for a booster for automobile telephone set.
