Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance a critical current density and to perform an arbitrary shape and a uniform film thickness by mixing oxide superconducting substances at a predetermined ratio, printing a thick film on a substrate in a paste state with a solvent, and baking it at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION:Yb2O3, BaO, CuO of oxide superconducting substance materials are mixed at a ratio of 1:2:3, and kneaded with propylene glycol to be pastelike. The pastelike oxide superconducting substance is printed in a thick film through a printing plate on a substrate (sapphire glass). It is baked at 800-1500 deg.C in a baking furnace in the air (or oxygen atmosphere), solid reacted and baked to mold a superconducting single crystal element. A current density is enhanced as compared with the superconducting element by depositing. According to the printing method, a superconducting element having equal film thickness with relatively uniform characteristics is obtained over a wide area.
