Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve productivity of a lighting conductor element by constructing thereof with a non-linear resistance element and a static capacitance element provided with a dielectric sintered solidly with the former.
CONSTITUTION: A small amount of bismuth antimony, cobalt, manganese, chromium oxides and the like are mixed with a main component, zinc oxide for example, granulated and shaped in a mold. The material thus shaped is sintered at 1,200 to 13,000°C to form a non-linear resistance element 1. A dielectric 2 mainly composed of barium titanate is arranged in the cylindrically formed element 1 and solidly sintered at a high temperature. An electrode 3 is provided on both ends of the combination of the elements 1 and 2 to yield a ceramic static capacitance element 4. With such an arrangement, the elements 1 and 2 can solidly be formed to save a work for connection thereof, thus improving the productivity of the lighting conductor element.
