Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily weld H-shape steel with good operability without generating any camber by pushing an upper flange with a fixed beam, pushing down a lower flange with a pushup apparatus, welding the lower flange and a web, then, turning inside out and welding the other sides. CONSTITUTION:An upper flange 12 and a lower flange 11 are tack spot-welded to the upper and the lower part of a web in an H shape and mounted on the pushup apparatus at a restraint position 2. Hydraulic oil is introduced to a hydraulic cylinder 32 and the upper end surface of the upper flange 12 is pushed up and placed in a restraint state until it comes in contact with a fixing beam 24. Then, the welding torch 41 of the welding machine 41 is placed at the junction between the web 10 and the bottom flange 11 and the welding machine 41 is moved along the upper rail 43 to conduct welding. Then, a moving base 52 is retreated along a rail 44, the vertical position is overturned by operating the reversing machine through the revolution of a revolving base 21 and continuous welding is conducted by the welding torch 411. In this manner, the H-shape steel less in occurrence of camber is obtained.
