PURPOSE:To enable multiplication and cultivation of spiny lobsters, by feeding a liquid containing densely propagated unicellular algae to the tank for culturing phyllosomas of spiny lobster and giving nauplii of brine shrimp and hard-shelled mussels. CONSTITUTION:A liquid containing densely propagated unicellular algae is given to the culture tank 1 for phyllosomas of spiny lobster. Further, a surface flow of water is formed at an appropriate rate on the periphery of the tank and minced meat of nauplii of brine shrimps and hard-shelled mussels are given as feeds. The unicellular algae liquid is, e.g., diatoms of about 400,000-1,500,000 cells/ml or green algae of about 6,000,000-25,000,000 cells/ml or their combination. Panulirus zainus is grown at 18-20 deg.C, while Panulirus japonicus, at 25-28 deg.C.
