Abstract
PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in combustion efficiency by installing a suction port in the head of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 3 is installed in the head of a cylinder 1. A valve guard 6 is formed in a central part of this suction port 3. And a valve 5 for opening or closing the suction port 3 is installed in this valve guard 6. When a piston 17 goes down and an exhaust port 16 is opened, exhaust gas is exhausted out of this exhaust port 16, whereby the valve 5 is opened by negative pressure in the cylinder 1, and fuel mixture flows in from the suction port 3. Since flow direction of the fuel mixture coincides with that of the exhaust gas, residual quantity of the exhaust gas is very little. With this constitution, combustion efficiency is improvable.
