Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an efficient telephone response, by converting associate information to a telephone number by using a storage means and a retrieval means at the time of outgoing, and displaying the associate information on an attached information display means in a telephone set at a reception side at the time of incoming. CONSTITUTION:By confirming a dial tone from an exchange circuit 3 by performing the on-hook of a transmission side telephone set 1 and inputting the associate information such as a department name, etc., by using a dial key, the associate information is sent to the retrieval means 6 via the input control means 8 of the exchange circuit 3 in an exchange 11. And the telephone number corresponding to the associate information is read out from the storage means 5, and is sent to an exchange control means 9, and also, the name code of the associate information is sent to an output means 10, and the control means 9 performs exchange control based on the telephone number and performs the selection of an incoming line and the delivery of the name code. In such a way, at a reception side telephone set 2, a designated name is displayed on the LCD12, and also, a ringer is rung. Therefore, it is not required to confirm an incoming opponent by responding by the reception side telephone set at the time of incoming, thereby, a telephone response with high efficiency can be realized.
