Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the accurate voltage at an optional position of the opposite side by holding an electrode of the detecting side of the voltage at a ground level of. CONSTITUTION:When the X coordinates are detected, the control terminals 25-28 are controlled in three steps. In an initial state, the transistors (TR3, 4, 6 and 7 are turned off, the TR5 and 8 are turned on and two electrodes are kept at a ground (GND) level respectively. Then the TR3 and 4 are turned on and the voltage is applied in the X direction. In this case, the electrode of the voltage detecting side is set at a GND level. The TR8 is turned off and the voltage of an optional position in the X direction is detected through an output terminal 30. Then the TR3, 4, 6 and 7 are turned off, the TR5 and 8 are turned on and both electrodes are set at a GND level respectively for detection of the Y coordinates. The TR6 and 7 are turned on, the voltage is applied in the Y direction and the electrode of the voltage detecting side are set at a GND level respectively. Then the TR5 is turned off and the voltage is detected through a terminal 29 at an optional position in the Y direction. Thus it is possible to detect the accurate voltage without generating the electromagnetic induction at the electrode since the electrode is kept at a GND level at the detecting side when the voltage is detected.
