Abstract

CONSTITUTION:There are provided a hole 31 bored in the pipe wall in the midway of a pipeline 16 to which a vacuum chamber 13 and a solenoid valve 17, a pressure regulating valve 32 for opening and closing the hole 31, one end of which is threaded, a sensor 33 for detection of a master paper 1B being carried to a designated exposure position, and switching means 34 for opening and closing the pressure regulating valve 32 according to the presence/absence of a detection signal SC from the sensor 33. When the above pressure regulating means is used, it can be detected that the master paper 1B is carried to the designated exposure position by the sensor 33 to open the pressure regulating valve 32. Accordingly, the sucking force can be controlled within a designated range without suddenly lowering the internal pressure in the vacuum chamber 13.
