Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain printed matter having high resolution and high grade by magnetically floating a toner from an image forming body and transferring the same onto a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The image forming sheet 1 formed by including a photoconductor layer receives exposing 5 from an LCS light source 4. Since a bias voltage is impressed between a magnetic sleeve 7 and the image forming sheet 1, the injection of electric charge to the superconductive toner 6 on the surface of the sheet 1 arises. The quantity of the electric charge to be injected differs in an exposed part and unexposed part and, therefore a difference is generated in the electrostatic adhesion of the toner 6, by which development is executed. The recording medium 9 progresses at the equal speed as the speed of the sheet 1 in an arrow 10 direction. A cooling system 11 cools the toner 6 down to the transition temp. thereof in a transfer position. A Meissner effect is, thereupon, generated by the magnetic force of a permanent magnet 12 installed in the sheet 1, by which the toner 6 is floated from the surface of the sheet 1 and is brought into contact with the recording medium so as to be stuck to the recording medium 9. A good transfer image is thus obtd.
