Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a visual inspection of the perimeter of a transparent bag with a TV camera through a transparent fresh water layer even in a mud water poor in transparency, by sinking the transparent bag with a lighting lamp and the TV camera inserted thereinto into the mud water while a fresh water is injected into the bag. CONSTITUTION:A transparent bag 6 is sunk into a mud water 4 within a pit hole 2 while a fresh water 14 in a tank 13 set at a proper height on a subsoil 1 is injected into the bag 6 through a communication tube and a hose 5 and the bag 6 is inflated within an expanded bottom 2a of a pit hole 2 by a water pressure of the fresh water 14. Numeral 16 in the drawing indicates a shut-off valve provided in the communication tube 15. Then, a lighting lamp 8 is turned ON to illuminate the perimeter of the bag and a TV camera 7 is operated through a TV camera manipulating rod 10 to photograph the perimeter of the bag through a fresh water layer and an image is received with a TV 12.
