Abstract

PURPOSE:To record a reproducing signal faster than in an operation at reference speed, by performing a signal processing by a clock signal having a frequency with integer times that of a reference clock signal. CONSTITUTION:A system clock fck is changed to a clock 2fidenticalk having a double frequency by a clock generator 17. The clock 2fck is inputted to a terminal on one side of switch circuit 19. Also, the clock 2fck is bi-sected at a 1/2-frequency division circuit 18, then, restored to an original clock, and is inputted to the other side of the circuit 19. When a double speed processing is selected, the circuit 19 is inputted to the clock 2fck side. And the clock 2fck is inputted to a signal processing part 20, and a compact disk 22 starts reproduction at double speed. Also, switches provided at a servo part 24 and a tape recorder 25 are switched by the command of a microcomputer 26, then, fitted to the double speed. Then, the recorder 25 is operated at the double speed, and the reproducing signal can be recorded on a recording medium in a short time.
