Thus the tape recorded with the jump mark is reproduced and the part of jump marks comes, then a jump mark sensor 23 produces an output. A reproducing means receiving this jump instruction switches the tape to fast forward until the jump mark is not detected, and when no jump mark is detected, the fast forward is stopped and restored to a normal playback state. Thus, undesired playback section can be switched to fast forward.
