Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable an immediately effective water temperature rise and eliminate an environmental deterioration by windingly mounting coils composed of a conductive material around a pipe having a cylindrical ring state, and electrically energizing coils. CONSTITUTION:Coils 4 and 4' seriesly connected and composed of a conductive material are windingly mounted to two straight line parts of a ring-state pipe 1 composed of a magnetic material, having an oblong shape, and wound in a cylindrical state. A secondary short-circuit current is generated in the circumferential direction of a cylinder of the pipe 1 by flowing an electric current to coils 4 and 4' with an AC voltage applied. The Joule heat is produced in the pipe 1 by a resistance loss, eddy-current loss, and hysteresis loss based on the short-circuit current, and the water filled from a winding-start part 2 to the pipe 1 inside is heated by the Joule heat, the water temperature risen, and the water drained from a winding-finish part 3. A 100% of the electric power applied to coils is helpful in raising the water temperature and heat loss is eliminated since the Joule teat produced thereby limitedly makes heat release from the pipe to the outside, and is all used for conversion of the temperature of the water flowing in the pipe.
