Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively absorb the thermal expansion between a Z-ring and a fixed plug without coagulation and adhesion of sodium on the Z-ring by setting the temperature of the Z-ring at the melting point of sodium or more. CONSTITUTION:At first a Z-ring presser member 22 is attached to the lower face of a fixed upper plate 5a placed on the periphery thereof. The presser member 22 is made of the materials of the same coefficient of thermal expansion as the upper plate 5a. On the other hand, a Z-ring 21 is arranged in the condition that a gap 24 exists between the lower face of the upper plate 5a and it on the inner circumference. In other words the Z-ring 21 is supported in the condition that an upper flange 21b is placed on the annular projected part 22c of the presser member 22. Further, since the Z-ring 21 comes in contact with the presser member 22 only on the periphery thereof, the influence of the plug upper plate 5a does not exist and so the Z-ring 21 is not at the melting point of sodium or less. Since the Z-ring 21 is freely set in the radial direction, the thermal expansion is effectively absorbed and no excessive load works on the fixed part of the presser member 22.
