Abstract

PURPOSE: To save material by thinning and increase the permissible heat capacity, by setting a flange to an opening of a U-shaped stator, the flange being used as part of a magnetic circuit and sides of the stator being used as friction faces.
CONSTITUTION: A side of a U-shaped stator 11 is machined to make a long hole 11a as magnetic shielding window and attached with a lining 7, while its opening is equipped with a flange 12 to compose a magnetic circuit. Since sides of the stator 11 are used as friction faces, and the lining 7 is not in direct contact with resin 3, the difference of thermal expansion can be ignored and the permissible heat capacity can be increased. The magnetic circuit utilizing the stator 11 and flange 12 is effective for saving material.
