Abstract

PURPOSE:To design efficient utilization of a storage space for the titled device for an intelligent building or the like by arranging a container storage section and guide rails in a ceiling and by making a container transfer cart ascend or descend or run on each floor and between the storage sections by means of a control device. CONSTITUTION:A control device 100 performs a specified operation based on various kinds of inputs entered and outputs control signals for controlling an elevator 3, a transfer cart 4, and a forward path changer 7, for storing a container 2 from an input table 1 to one of the required storage areas A1-A10 of a container storage section 45 in a ceiling, and for taking out a required container 2 in the storage section 5 to the input table 1. The inward or outward movement of the container 2 is performed by moving the transfer cart 4 between the input table 1 and the ceiling storage section 5 along a guide rail 6 via the elevator 3 and the forward direction changer 7 by means of the control signal. With this constitution, the storage space is utilized efficiently.
