Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall when a clutch is engaged or disengaged by stopping feedback control of idle rotation upon engagement of clutch and decreasing feedback correction value gradually for predetermined time thereafter. CONSTITUTION:An idle rotation control valve 7 is arranged in an auxiliary intake path 6 provided in an intake path 2 of an engine 1 while bypassing a throttle valve 4. The idle rotation control valve 7 is controlled by a control unit 12 together with a fuel injection nozzle 8 based on signals fed from a water temperature sensor 9, a distributor 10 and an idle switch 11. The control unit 12 stops feedback control of idle rotation upon engagement of engine clutch. Thereafter, feedback correction value is decreased gradually for predetermined time.
