Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive improvements in handling properties of powdery body and dispersion properties of sol, by a method wherein an aqueous dispersion is sprayed into a spray drier chamber of a specific temperature condition as a droplet whose mean droplet diameter is a specific value or less, and particulates are recovered by recycling them. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous dispersion of vinyl chloride resin for processing of paste is sent to a drier 3 through a raw material tank 4, dispersed into droplets of mean diameter of 100mum or less by a dispersion instrument 6 and sprayed. Fine powder generated in a drying chamber is passed through a blow-off port 7 for discharge air by following after the discharge air, recovered by separating from the discharge air by a fine powder separator 8 and recycled to the drying chamber by passing through a fine powder recovery line 9 and a recovered fine powder feed port 10. As a temperature of high-temperature hot air at a blow-in port 1 is limited to 120 deg.C or lower, it does not happen that the surfaces of particles are fused together thermally. As a vinyl chloride resin granulated body for the paste obtained in this manner possesses favorable flowability and little fine powder, mixing with a plasticizer and also dust at the time of solation are reduced and solating speed also is improved.
